The Ajax FIRE PROTECT 2 RB detector is an advanced safety device designed to immediately detect smoke and rapid temperature rises, providing complete fire protection. Equipped with dual-spectrum optical sensors and precise temperature sensors, it ensures reliable and fast detection of potential hazards.

Running wirelessly with two replaceable CR123A batteries, this detector is easy to install and requires no wiring. It is compatible with multiple Ajax hubs, including the Hub Plus, Hub 2 (2G and 4G), Hub 2 Plus, as well as hybrid hub models, allowing for flexible integration into various security systems.

The FIRE PROTECT 2 RB uses Jeweller communication technology, providing a communication range of up to 1,700 meters in open field. It features advanced protections against sabotage, data spoofing, and communication failures, ensuring continuous and secure operation.

In the event of a fire detection, the built-in siren emits a loud 85 dB audible signal at a distance of 3 meters, alerting occupants immediately. The multi-colored LED indicators (green, yellow and red) provide clear visual information about the operating status of the detector.

Compliant with the European standard EN 14604:2005/AC:2008, this detector meets the strictest safety requirements. It is designed to operate in temperatures from 0°C to 50°C and is IP20 rated for protection against solid objects larger than 12mm in diameter.
